The Minutes of the meeting of Almeley Parish Council held on 25th August 2010 are now on the website.

The 446 bus service will be revised from 5th September 2010 and the changes to the link to the new timetable on the Hereforshire council website are now on the Almeley website.

The changes will mean reverting to a standard route in both directions between Almeley, Eardisley and Hereford. Kinnersly will no longer be served by the 446 due to lack of patronage.

Almeley Women's Institute is hosting a Coffee morning and Bring & Buy, on Saturday 24th July at Little Woonton Farm (home of Margaret Smith) between 10.30 and 12.00 in aid of the Martha Trust, a charity based in Hereford which provides lifelong respite care for young people with profound intellectual and physical disablities.

We are delighted that to start the new Flicks season we've jumped in and booked for Thurs 30th September the international success, "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" based on the novel of the same name.The plot is difficult to summarize; forty years ago a woman disappeared from a family's private island; a journalist is asked to investigate;one of a trio of best selling novels. Brilliant. Cert 18, starts 7:30 pm, 150 mins.
