Aspects of Almeley through the Millenium was compiled by Clyde Jones and published by the Almeley Millenium Committee. This is a fascinating 72 page booklet setting out the story of Almeley in words, illustrations, and maps. It covers pre-history to the present day, and includes history of the Lords of the Manor, the Castle, the Church, the railway, and the flora and fauna of the area. Copies of the booklet are available in the church at a price of £5.
